The word “schedule” and 'photographer' don't really mix well. Wake photography is a lot of spontaneous availability, but for those of you who need a schedule of events for a day of job shadowing, here is the best “schedule” I can deliver. Nothing mentioned here is set in stone, but should cover the jist of it.

Saturday and Sunday - If our schedules align, I'm all about it. Check for availability.

TRANSPORTATION / LODGING:
Transportation pick up/drop off to and from the Orlando International Airport will be provided. There is plenty of lodging with numerous hotels located on Semoran Blvd (also known as State Road 436). Anywhere close to the airport would be an ideal, central location for you to stay. Most shooting will take place in and around downtown Orlando/Clermont area. Your own transportation is encouraged, but not absolutely necessary. Arrangements can be made.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Upon arrival, we'll get acquainted and discuss our first photo-shoot the next morning and day(s) ahead. Bring your completed Question Form with you. With Wakeboarding and Wakeskating, the time of year you book your day(s) will determine who is available to shoot with and what options we will have at our access. We'll be shooting for magazines, sponsors, commercial advertisements or for the fun of it. And in some instances, you may be asked to not photograph anything to respect the privacy of the individual/shoot. Before you confirm your reservation, I'll be able to better estimate our shooting opportunities.

At minimum, each day we'll have the opportunity to shoot:
1- Tube Angle (sit on top of the inner tube)
To get the bird's eye view sitting just a few feet away, this is the place to be. Restrictions may apply. You will get wet. You must be able to swim! The inner tube will be dragged a few feet short and below the rider’s rope. The riders will be approximately 4-5 feet past where we sit. We'll sit/shoot side by side on the tube or you can just come along and observe the wet, close up, bumpy ride.

Observe/shoot from the Tube with Meddock
2- Boat Angle (shooting from the tow boat)
This angle is shooting the rider from the tow boat that is pulling the rider. We'll shoot shoulder to shoulder where I can easily talk to you and explain more about shutter speeds, exposure, distances, anticipation, focusing and panning.

Erik Ruck, Boat Angle
3- Chase Boat Angle (Using two boats or SeaDoo)
Perhaps the most difficult angle to shoot the sport, yet one that is often used; we'll save this one for last. Here, we'll be shooting from a secondary boat (shoulder to shoulder) and follow the tow boat out to the side, from behind, or through and around the double-up. This, "floating mobility" will allow us the most photographic flexibility.

Brian Grubb, Chase Boat Angle
4- Shore side or dock (optional angle)
Here we'll stay still on a dock or shore side and let the action come to us. This is a great spot to learn how to 'direct the shoot' or properly explain to your subject what, where or how you want them to perform.
